19.04.11INTRODUCING S:S&S EP MICRO

THE GLORIOUS DAWN OF A TINY NEW ERA will occur shortly before Thursday, April 21st 2011.

The strange musical creation of Superbrothers, Jim Guthrie & Capy comes home to the iPhone & iPod Touch as ‘Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP Micro’ – for a mere 2.99$.

The S:S&S EP project began life on these intimate, microscopic platforms… so many of the key art & design decisions were made with this very particular form factor in mind. While the size of the iPad is certainly a treat for S:S&S EP this is definitely ‘the way it was meant to be’ – it’s an entire little world you can slip into your pocket at any time. In many ways this is our most significant launch & it is also something of a homecoming – so please help us make some noize!

If you’ve already purchased S:S&S EP: 1 000 000 thx… now we are cosmic friends forever, ok?

Capy, Jim Guthrie & Superbrothers Inc. are super keen to add value to this thing we’re all enjoying so as a way to just keep things simple we’ve gone and made S:S&S EP ‘universal’ so you won’t need to needlessly re-purchase the App.

05.04.11Heart Containers for Japan

Ted Martens, an amazing independent developer, artist and all-round fun guy, just created this slick, soothing and just plain ol’ wonderful standalone app for Mac/PC, which also works as probably the greatest screensaver ever. You can pick it up by downloading it from his site and all proceeds go towards helping Japan. It’s a win win, folks. GO FORTH AND DO GOOD!

05.04.11THE BALLAD OF THE SPACEBABIES

Our dear friend Jim Guthrie just released Sword & Sworcery LP: The Ballad of the Spacebabies. It is, of course, the soundtrack to our magical game, but it’s also much more than that. It’s kinda from outerspace, totally beautiful, and features a saxophone solo. Plus, let us tell you: The vinyl LP is something to behold. It’s incredible. The 12″ LP release also includes the digital download, which is nice!

Grab it HERE:

The Vinyl also includes this amazing limited addition print by our friend Mr. Cory Schmitz:
