Hello guys, I'll post the balancing differences between the two games. DS and HD version.
I don`t enable the special unities yet, then I`ll edit this post later...

Haven
* Walls:
DS = Strength 8
HD = Strength 7
* Knight:
DS = PWR 30
HD = PWR 32
* Griffin
DS = PWR 105
HD = PWR 100

Inferno
* Nightmare:
DS = PWR 34
HD = PWR 35
* Abyssal Lord:
DS = PWR 120 / Charge Time 6 / No special ability
HD = PWR 105 / Charge Time 5 / Absorbs some PWR from fallen ally formations
* Pit Fiend:
DS = PWR 110 / No special ability
HD = PWR 115 / The vorpal sword's devastating blow leaves behind the burning corpse of any defeated units

Sylvan
* Pixie:
DS = PWR 6
HD = PWR 5
* Druid:
DS = PWR 25 / Special ability increases the Charge Time of enemy formations by 3 turns
HD = PWR 21 / Special ability increases the Charge Time of enemy formations by 2 turns
* Deer
DS = PWR 26
HD = PWR 28
* Emerald Dragon:
DS = PWR 105 / Special ability sprays acid on the battlefield that stays for 5 turns
HD = PWR 90 / Special ability sprays acid on the battlefield that stays for 1 turn

Necropolis
* Zombie:
DS = DEF 4
HD = DEF 2
* Vampire:
DS = PWR 27
HD = PWR 25
* Ghost:
DS = PWR 26 / Charge Time 4
HD = PWR 25 / Charge Time 3
* Bone Dragon:
DS = PWR 105 / Swallows idle enemy units and uses their PWR to increase attack power
HD = PWR 110 / Swallows idle enemy units and uses ther DEF to increase attack power
* Death Knight:
DS = PWR 120 / No special ability
HD = PWR 105 / While charging, the Death Knight draws his PWR from enemy formations

Academy
* Walls:
DS = Strength 5
HD = Strength 4
* Gremlin:
DS = PWR 18
HD = PWR 14
* Mage:
DS = PWR 30
HD = PWR 29
* Djinn:
DS = PWR 32 / Special ability freezes every formation it hits for 4 turns
HD = PWR 27 / Special ability freezes every formation it hits for 3 turns
* Rakshasa:
DS = PWR 105
HD = PWR 95
Titan:
DS = Special ability instantly reduce enemy walls by half
HD = Special ability damage connected enemy walls

Wow! The Dragon got hit with that nerf stick. 1 turn is kinda usless and he is even easier to defend against. At least you guys did not touch his time. Ya I think the Ghost needed that buff.

Aren't the many artifact changes significant too? I haven't had much time to play so I can't contribute many or a comprehensive list, but here is what I recall so far:

Sylvan:
Elder Staff increases Druid's special by one turn for each link it has.

Necropolis:
Spider Cloak: Now reduces MAX health (not starting health) by 75% and increases power by 75% for all formations (Is it still ridiculously OP now?)
Ritual Dagger: Instead of its previous health gain for each unit deleted, it now deletes a random enemy core unit whenever you do so. (The deleted unit is in the same column as the one you "sacrificed")

Is the Haven artifact that allows free reinforcements? (King's Crown, or something like that?) unchanged? Haven is strong enough as is....

Deer Antlers no longer power up the deers. It just lets them just over multiple wall formations. Can there even be multiple wall formation? I thought they just fused.

In the DS version, Deer would jump over 2 walls and the deer antler artifact gave them a 25% fusion bonus.

In the HD version, Deer jump over 1 wall (even though the text says 2, it only does 1) and the deer antler allows them to jump over all walls.

I've honestly never used a deer against multiple walls and the antlers since I tend to use a different artifact, but I'm guessing they just skip every wall. And yes, you can have wall formations going all the way back if you really want...
