It’s our great pleasure to co-announce Indie Fund, a brand new source of funding for independent games, via other independent game developers. It’s like a magical circle of life where indie success fosters more indie success, which in turn fosters more indie success, and so on ad infinitum!

We’re extremely proud to be part of this and we hope it helps other independent developers create even more beautiful, creative and just plain awesome games.

SWORD & SWORCERY ACHIEVES ART ACHIEVEMENT

Thanks to pixel wiggler Superbrothers, our collaborative iPhone game Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP won the IGF Mobile Achievement in Art Award! Cue the celebrations!

Huge congrats to the rest of the winners, including the rad folk at Secret Exit, who basically can’t go a year without winning an IGF Mobile Award.

CAPY+SUPERBROTHERS HOSTING HAND EYE SOCIETY FEB 11TH

The Hand Eye Society is an awesome little Toronto event where local game makers and friends get together to show cool stuff and talk all smart-like. Capy and Superbrothers will be hosting the next HES social on February 11th, presenting a little bit of Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery and little bit of Heartbeat. It’s free, and it’s fun and you can drink beers… but the beers are not free. But still! It’s a good time.

CAPY + SUPERBROTHERS HOSTING THE NEXT HAND EYE

Hello friends,

Consider this blog post an open invitation to the next Hand Eye Society gather on February 4th. Capy will be co-hosting with Superbrothers so it should (at the very least) be a very pretty looking presentation (thanks to Mr. Craig D. Adams).
